Upper Midwest Bakery Association (UMBA) issues cake decorating challenge

The Upper Midwest Bakery Association (UMBA) will host the 3rd annual Ultimate Cake Decorating Competition at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. on Sunday, Oct. 25. This year’s competition will feature two categories: wedding cake and Halloween. The winner of the wedding cake category will be awarded a $1,000 cash prize, while the winner of the Halloween competition will win a five-day class at Julie Bashore’s School of Cake Decorating and Confectionary Art.
